“Walking on high heels, soaking up life”

I can't stand the Rain

I can’t stand the rain, against my window
Bringing back, sweet memories
I can’t stand the rain, against my window
Cause it ain’t here with me
Hey window pane
Tell me, do you remember?
How sweet it used to be
When we were together
Everything was so grand
Now that we parted
There’s just one sound
That I just can’t stand

I can’t stand the rain, against my window
Bringing back, sweet memories

Well, whoever thought Ms. Turner sings about some hubby, is just very much mistaken. Of course she is singing about a pair of heels: which she must have - without a doubt - lost in the rain. Am totally understanding the disastrous situation (been there done that, sister - I feel with ya): so on this wet sunday have nothing more to add than: I can feel your pain, me too can’t stand the rain.
