Sun is dimming its light to a subtle lavender color and small chuckling wave makes the lake in front of me look like a dyed deep blue plissé Isabel Marant skirt (summer collection 2014). The passing little ducklings in their young fluffy plumage would make a fantastic marabu bolero (OK... duckling bolero than...) for next winter and my attempts to keep the last candle burning (summery breeze!) to be able to type are to no avail as is it to neglect the gravity of my eyelids after a long relaxed boat ride in the sun.
When typing this, it’s the first long summer weekend in the Netherlands and I have done nothing but eat and drink with friends for 72 hours solid, dancing on boats and in summer bouts of rain, cycling across the city at 4 in the morning, sleeping in and enjoying life.
Only some simple snapshots, almost no running in heels, no fuss about dress codes, just decadent nothingness (and thinking of those duckling feathers admittedly: they would make fantastic boots too.... )
Please enjoy the official summer opening and shoe yourself, I’ve gone tanning!
Love you all, happy (off) heel greetings!
