“Walking on high heels, soaking up life”

So long

Have you ever noticed how many great words actually start with an “s”?

Shoes (you knew I’d put that first…), and that “birds and the bees thingy” (I recently discovered my blog is also read by minors, so….) but what about surprises? Love them!
Not to mention sun, summer, Sauvignon blanc! Swarovski crystals and Chanel (well, at least it’s pronounced with an “s”…). And what about striking and success? Sweet.

I can’t find seem to find any “s” in “getting up at four o’clock in the morning to catch a flight” though, nor in “trying catch a cab at that time”.

I’m on my way to Bavaria (yeah, not starting with “s” either), and it would be the dullest destination to head to, if it weren’t the place where my sister lives with her husband and their four lovely boys. The eldest is getting baptized this weekend: a superb reason to celebrate and get the family together.
After two hours of waiting in the aircraft (what’s wrong with planes this year?) due to a missing technical device which they obviously had to import from China, I have arrived in my sheers and sandals only to find it’s actually winter in Germany. This means that I won’t be able to wear any of the 5 pairs of heels I packed for three days.

Apparently my only lucky “s” for today is going to sleep (again) immediately.
So long!

P.S.: Today’s shoes are Coccinelle
